This Graphic is inspired from Lt Nawang’s personal Journal entry on 25 October 1999. He has described all the hard work and perseverance that he had to undergo to make it till Officers Training Academy, Chennai. The joy he had on clearing SSB-Services Selection Board’s interview.
We have designed it as a Newspaper as it is an important news for an aspiring cadet and his entire family to clear SSB interview. |

Finally OTA

First Day at academy is directly inspired from Lt Nawang’s Journal where he has described each moment so beautifully. To every Cadet that “First day” is something they never forget. They have worked so hard to achieve their dreams to be part of academy that when they are finally there it is Overwhelming. |

OTA Darshan | OTA Darshan is a formal tour of the academy, which is given to each new cadet to show them around their campus-their Training areas, classes and their life for upcoming days. |

Third Week | Once Training begins it keeps getting tougher and busier. Around Third week as one reads Lt Nawang’s Journal too one can see that he writes about PT going tougher but appreciates that it will help him down the line. |

Life gets busier every passing day in academy and training gives him very less time .Even his writings in journal get shorter and less descriptive. We too have used words to capture this essence and not sentences. |

Life at OTA | This Graphic covers daily routine of a GC at OTA Chennai. Time and Discipline are two factors that get imbibed in a cadet from a strict schedule. Life at academy is very busy and one literally is running or cycling to every place. There is a fixed time period for everything.
The Graphic is set with Drill square in the background as it is a very integral part of a cadet’s life. They practice there everyday till they finally take their “Final Step “to become Indian Army Officers and earn their stars. |
