Description on the Logo
This is a vertical logo. The logo highlights the olive green colours. In the centre of the logo is the silhouette of Lt Nawang Kapadia in the 3rd Gorkha Rifles Uniform. The emblems on the cap and belt are the regimental symbols of the 3rd Gorkha Rifles Regiment. There are two black stars on the shoulder epaulets of the image.

Meaning of the Logo
The arrangement of the olive green background represents the Indian Army which wears Olive Green as their uniform. This uniform is worn with pride by soldiers to identify them as members of the Army.
The silhouette of Lt. Kapadia, in the middle of the logo establishes the strong belonging that Nawang has for the Indian Army and the pride in wearing this uniform.
The slanted hat is a distinct feature of the Gorkha Regiments uniform. The hat is traditionally worn at an angle of 15 degrees tilt to the right side of wearer
The two stars on the shoulder signify the rank of Lt. Kapadia. In the Indian Army, the rank of a Lieutenant is denoted by two stars on the shoulder epaulette of the officer. Since Nawang belonged to a “Rifle” regiment, these stars are black in colour instead of the traditional golden colour.
The emblems of 3rd Gorkha Rifles on the cap and the belt signify the that Lt. Nawang Kapadia is a member of that regiment
