Khukri Display and Boxing

fter we were all settled in, the functions started in the evening. The first event was novice boxing which would build the courage of the young soldiers taking up the sport and would encourage them to do better. This was followed by display of the Khukri Dance led by young Lt. Pun. This is a traditional dance of the Gorkha Regiments done along with their weapon the Khukri. This dance combines the main cutting movements of fighting with the Khukri and presents them in a dance form.
