Sattar Ke Sher

Nawang spend a year at the Officers’ Training Academy in Chennai as part of the training to join the Indian Army. He was commissioned from the OTA and joined 4th Battalion, 3rd Gorkha Rifles.

He was part of the SS 70 & WS 16 course. 70 in Hindi is ‘Sattar’. The title means the Lion of Course No 70.
