Dear Uncle & Aunty,
Hi I  am coursemate of Nawang! Our interaction with each other had been limited to places where the course gathering would take place.  I have interacted with him couple of times in the academy and found him to be a ‘Bindaas’ carefree person. At the time when we all used to discuss about our passing-out parade and our course of action to clear the tests, he would seldom have such things in his mind and would remark “yaar sab ho jata hai”.

Though I  came to know about Nawang some years back I  never know how to approach you. Today I have seen the website link on social media and read ‘The Longest Journey’. The memories were full of  nostalgia, as if Ii was living the  memories as  a cadet in OTA and coursemate of Nawang.

It seems like yesterday; joining academy and becoming proud officers of Indian Army and today like all of use Nawang would also have been addressed as ‘Colonel Sahab’.

As of now  I am presently posted in Jabalpur as Security Officer, Grey Iron Foundry. Any thing I can do for you please do make me obliged.
